GEE Group is currently seeking a Manufacturing – Cost Engineer for a well-established manufacturing company located in Southeast Ohio.
As Manufacturing – Cost Engineer, you will prepare costs estimates for product manufacturing by:
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time/cost/material and labor estimate
- Work with engineers and owners to make adjustments as needed
- Assess cost-effectiveness, tracking actual costs as the project develops by developing cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures
- Determine cost-effective means to produce or purchase needed parts for the project
To be a candidate for this position, you will need:
- BS Engineering or related technical discipline
- Ability to read and analyze blueprint
