GEE has partnered with one of the world’s largest suppliers of materials and resins in search of an R&D Scientist. Having been in operation for over 100 years, our client is represented in over 20 countries with around 1,500 employees worldwide.

 

Overview:

As the R&D Scientist, you will research and develop new products and production processes, plan and perform laboratory bench work, ensure safety regulations, and conduct chemical and physical laboratory testing by following established procedures. This role focuses on documenting test results and reporting analyses according to good laboratory practices, running routine tests for characterization (ignition testing, TGA and DSC, IR), and setting up and troubleshooting laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for routine tests and research purposes.

Requirements:

  • S. in Science or Engineering or related field
  • At least 2 years experience in a laboratory environment
  • Good communication
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and software (Excel, MiniTab®, Phyton, or R.)
  • Background in chemical, metallurgy, or oil & gas industry

 

Responsibilities:
