Overview:

As the Director of Finance, this role will be the top financial authority within US operations. Reporting to the CEO, this position will require strong operational accounting knowledge. Additionally, successful candidates for the Director of Finance position will have a strong background in manufacturing accounting/finance and will be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of manufacturing accounting compliance and regulatory practices.

Requirements:

This is a great opportunity, but to be seriously considered for the Director of Finance position please have the following qualifications:

  • Professional finance and accounting experience in a management capacity
  • Background in manufacturing or operational accounting

Responsibilities:

As our client’s Director of Finance, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Understand compliance and regulations, and guide the Finance department to adhere to standards
  • Analyze, interpret, communicate, and present information to organizational leaders
  • Financial planning, analysis, reporting, and forecasting
  • Guide mentor and lead the development of the finance department
  • Interface and collaborate across multiple departments to increase and ensure company productivity and efficiency
  • Create, implement, and uphold continuous improvement practices
  • Lead costing efforts to maximize operational efficiency
  • Develop and implement budgeting and forecasting for US operations
  • Complete responsibility for P&L, as well as a cash flow
  • Performance reporting for the manufacturing facility operations
  • Provide technical expertise to optimize financial processes
  • Support in technical training for financial personnel
  • Project planning/monitoring, review, implementation, and validation
  • Responsible for project schedules and hitting target completion dates
