A growing construction and engineering firm in Columbus, Ohio is looking to bring on a Construction Engineer to help with testing and technician work in the construction field. A company truck and tools will be provided, continuous education provided (the company pays for certifications), and profit-sharing bonuses are included. Recent grads are encouraged to apply.

Construction Engineer Responsibilities

Performs testing and inspection in the construction industry for utilities, concrete, structural steel, fireproofing, etc.
Working together with the geotechnical engineering team to perform soil and material testing.
Complies with quality control and quality assurance to adhere to project specifications.
Creates documentation based on data and analytical findings.

Construction Engineer Qualifications

2- or 4-year degree in construction management or civil/chemical engineering.
Desired certifications are a plus; ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician – Grade I/ NICET Level II Construction Materials Testing – Subfield Soils/AWS Certified Welding Inspector.
