Responsibilities:
- Analyze manufacturing variances in materials, labor, overhead efficiency, and more.
- Maintain inventory accuracy using standard costing methods.
- Develop plant labor, overhead rates, and contribute to material cost assessments.
- Review and audit costing systems, ensuring data validity.
- Analyze cycle counts and physical inventory data.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including inventory adjustments.
- Provide regular plant performance reports and insights to management.
- Support month-end processes through journal entry preparation.
- Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc reporting.
- Assist with external audits and year-end inventory observations.
