Job Title: Maintenance Technician 1st Shift

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment and facilities. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both mechanical and electrical systems and be capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including conveyors, motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components.
- Electrical Systems: Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including motors, wiring, and control panels.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems quickly to minimize downtime.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and parts inventory.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing improvements to equipment performance and reliability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues and support operational goals.
- Emergency Repairs: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and work to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Training: Provide guidance and training to other maintenance staff and operators on the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
Technical Skills: - Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, seals).
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems (e.g. motors, wiring, control systems).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
