Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for manufacturing, electrical controls, maintenance, and industrial engineering functions and teams.
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing systems, processes, tooling, and fixtures to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Lead project planning and execution, encompassing research, proposals, budgeting, equipment needs, and resource allocation.
- Oversee production assembly work measurement systems, with proven expertise in the MOST Time Measurement Technique.
- Analyze production demand and labor data to optimize staffing requirements.
- Ensure production capacity meets current and projected demand levels.
- Drive a continuous improvement culture across all operational areas.
- Develop and manage the Engineering department’s business plan, budget, and performance objectives.
- Mentor and support team members, promoting their professional development.
- Prepare detailed reports for executive management and cross-functional departments.
- Ensure all processes comply with safety, ergonomic, and regulatory standards.
- Support key company initiatives, including Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing environments.
- Preferred certification in Lean/Six Sigma.
- Expertise in manufacturing methodologies like Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Visual Workplace.
- Strong skills in analytical thinking, project management, and multitasking.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, AutoCAD, and MOST.
- Solid understanding of the Theory of Constraints (bottleneck analysis).
