Maintenance Planning Engineer

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about equipment reliability, process improvement, and operational excellence. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our assets perform at their best by planning, coordinating, and optimizing maintenance activities across the plant.

Maintenance Engineer duties:
- Work Planning & Coordination
- Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to maximize uptime and reliability.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, and resources for both planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
- Schedule contractors, ensure all required documentation is completed, and provide escorts when needed.
- CMMS Management
- Create, track, and close maintenance work orders using the CMMS.
- Monitor technician labor hours and preventive maintenance compliance.
- Generate performance, reliability, and compliance reports.
- Analyze CMMS data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Project & Continuous Improvement Support
- Support the Maintenance Manager and Engineering teams with project planning and documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and increase throughput.
- Assist with machine repairs, modifications, and builds alongside engineering and maintenance teams.
- Manage MRO purchasing and maintain accurate spare parts inventory records.
- Hydraulics, Electrical systems, Controls, High-pressure steam/boilers, Pneumatics
- Welding and mechanical troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering preferred.
- Previous experience in maintenance planning required.
- Experience with various CMMS platforms.
