Tooling Engineer
Seeking a hands-on Tooling Engineer responsible for designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting plastic injection molding processes, from mold design (DFM) to high volume production.
Role Overview:
- New Model & Trial Development: Support the launch of new products and trial schedules by overseeing tooling design, process development, simulation, robot programming, and process validation to ensure a robust, competitive start-up.
- Process Improvement & Cost Control: Analyze scrap rates and manufacturing defects to develop technical solutions that enhance quality and minimize production costs.
- Capital Projects & Engineering: Lead capital investment initiatives, including the installation of new equipment and process improvements, applying engineering specifications to boost productivity.
- Technology Implementation: Evaluate and deploy new technologies to solve manufacturing challenges, optimize productivity, and improve product quality.
- Performance Monitoring: Use advanced technology to evaluate current manufacturing operations, ensuring that profitability and quality standards are maintained.
- Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting and support to production, process, and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Plastics, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: 5–10 years in injection molding and robotics.
