You’ll work closely with experienced engineers, gaining exposure to 3D modeling, fabrication drawings, material planning, and engineering calculations while progressively taking ownership of more complex projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys seeing a design move from a computer screen to a finished product and wants to build a long-term career in mechanical design and engineering.

  • Develop 3D designs
  • Create production drawings
  • Develop material requirements
  • Support engineering analysis
  • Manage design standards
  • Collaborate across teams
  • Grow technically

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related discipline; equivalent technical education and experience will also be considered.
  • 1 –3 years of relevant engineering or mechanical design experience. Recent graduates, interns, and co-op candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, including the ability to create drawings from completed models.
  • Strong attention to detail and an organized approach to managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Comfortable working within established processes while asking questions, accepting feedback, and learning from more experienced engineers.
  • Must live in the Columbus, Ohio area or be willing to relocate.

Nice to Haves

  • Exposure to enclosed space design, pharmaceutical or life-science manufacturing, HVAC, controlled environments, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with bills of materials, manufacturing documentation, or construction drawings.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel for engineering or project-related work.
  • Internship, co-op, academic, or project experience involving mechanical design or manufacturing.
