GEE Group is conducting a search on behalf of a large industrial manufacturing client that is seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, data-driven professional to help drive efficiency, improve processes, and support ongoing quality initiatives within a well-established operation.
In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers and production teams to gather and analyze performance data, support root cause investigations, and contribute to quality and process improvement projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Data & Analysis
- Collect data from production systems, sensors, and logs to identify patterns and issues.
- Support root cause analysis efforts for production inefficiencies and quality problems.
- Prepare clear, concise reports and visual dashboards to communicate insights.
- Quality Monitoring
- Track and report on key quality metrics to ensure standards are met.
- Assist in defect analysis and identify opportunities to reduce variation and waste.
- Support the implementation of quality improvement projects.
- Process Improvement
- Help map out current manufacturing workflows and document findings.
- Contribute ideas for process optimization and lean initiatives.
- Work with team members to execute improvement plans.
- Learning & Mentorship
- Learn from senior engineers through hands-on training and collaborative projects.
- Participate in workshops and skill-building sessions.
- Share new knowledge and findings with peers to support team development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or process improvement role preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to team success
- This is a full-time, onsite role with no remote option
