Senior Accountant
The GEE Group has partnered with an established manufacturer that is seeking a skilled and dependable Senior Accountant to support their expanding finance team. This role is ideal for someone with strong financial and manufacturing accounting experience who is ready to take ownership of core accounting functions in a dynamic production environment.
What You’ll Do:
General Accounting
• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules
• Assist with maintaining accurate general ledger accounts
• Help ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Assist with cost accounting activities including standard cost updates
• Support inventory accounting, cycle counts, and variance reviews
• Provide basic analysis related to production costs and margins
• Collaborate with operations personnel on financial questions and data needs
Reporting and Analysis
• Prepare routine financial reports for management review
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting tasks
• Help identify process improvements that enhance accuracy and efficiency
Systems and Process Support
• Work within the company’s ERP system. NetSuite experience is a plus
• Contribute to improving financial processes, reporting tools, and documentation
What We’re Looking For
• Experience in general accounting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with ERP systems. NetSuite experience is helpful but not required
• Someone who is dependable, collaborative, and eager to grow with the organization
