This is more than a month-end-close role—it’s a chance to lead a small team, modernize processes, and keep both the books and the business aligned.
What You’ll Do:
- Month-end close and prepare board-ready reports that drive decision-making.
- Oversee AP, AR, and GL functions—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clarity.
- Manage internal audits and collaborate with external auditors.
- Support budget planning and annual forecasts across all departments.
- Maintain and reconcile asset and liability accounts—dig deep, not just check boxes.
- Handle credit card oversight, survey submissions, tax filings, and regulatory requests.
- Guide a team of three general accountants with confidence and accountability.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required); CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to delegate without disconnecting.
- Knowledge of GAAP, internal audit principles, and cash management.
